If you would ask a tourist where they want to eat ramen in Japan, Ichiran restaurant would always be included on the list. I was so intrigued on my why this restaurant is making a fuss, so when I went to Japan with my sisters and friends last April, I made sure that it is included on our dining list. It was in Osaka when we first checked it out, we eventually backed out when we saw the long line of people who are craving to dine there. It didn’t surprised us though, since when you are in Japan, you really have to queue in order to get in to famous restaurants, especially during meal times. We learned our lesson, so we always make sure that if we will eat on popular places like this, it should be on odd hours.
As defined by most dictionaries, Business Lunch is a midday meal where people merely talk about business matters. But for me, Business Lunch here in Qatar means a way to try out food in most restaurants at a lower price.
Noodles and Ribs was the concept launched by Elements Restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel Doha last summer. It features a delectable variety of ribs and Chef Ding’s hand pulled noodles. Before I left for vacation last July, the foodie in me was so eager to try it because the concept looks interesting and unique, but the thrifty side of me was telling me not to pay QAR 200 for just noodles and ribs (I didn’t know then that salads, sushi and desserts are included).
Chi’zen Restaurant has always been on top of our list whenever we crave for some Asian cuisines or want to eat at a fancy resto here in Doha. They’ve got great selection of food, awesome service, beautiful ambience and affordable prices compared to the other restaurants located inside the hotels.
This restaurant is located opposite the office where I used to work three years ago. During that time, they were still constructing this place, and most of us were very excited to dine here since it is new in the area. However, when they finally opened, we heard and read a lot of good and bad reviews. Sadly, the bad comments took the best of us, so we prolong our decision to try eating here, until I resigned at that company.
